The Short-toed Treecreeper is one of the smaller birds living in Europe. It’s often hard to spot in the wild, as it loves scurrying up and down tree trunks, searching for insects hidden in the bark’s crevices. When you do manage to catch sight of one, it almost makes you believe that gravity doesn’t apply to them.
