The Grey Heron Chicks – One Week Later

Just one week has passed since we last saw the grey heron chicks, and though they’ve grown, they’re still far too young to take to the skies. Their tiny wings are in constant motion now—flapping, stretching, testing the dream of flight that lingers just out of reach. They peck at each other’s beaks with curious affection, like siblings in a slow dance of discovery. It will be many more weeks before they leave the safety of their nest, but for now, they remain high in the trees—nestled together, learning the language of the wind.
