Young grey herons spend the first weeks and months of their life in the nest. Their parents spend their time hunting and come by to feed them. The kids are always happy to see them and get fed.

Cygnets love exploring the lake on their own, but there is one thing they enjoy even more. They love climbing onto their mother’s back and going for a cruise with her, which gives them a wonderful view.

A dunnock always looks a bit aggressive and excited. I found this one in a park sitting right next to a red robin on a hedge. Despite their look, they seem to get along really well.
